My journey into the world of finance started early, inspired by my father, who was also a CA. Watching him navigate the intricacies of the profession sparked my interest and laid the foundation for my own aspirations in the field.

This journey took a transformative turn when I met a mentor who challenged my understanding of accounting. Under their guidance, I unlearned and relearned the fundamentals, eventually mastering the craft not just as a compliance requirement, but as the true language of business.

During my articleship, I worked tirelessly in a large firm. This hands-on exposure to diverse and complex cases deepened my knowledge and expertise significantly. The day I completed my articleship, I stepped confidently into practice as a young CA.

Despite low pass rates and tempting opportunities abroad, my family instilled in me the importance of staying grounded in India. They taught me the value of "contributing locally while thinking globally," a philosophy which has shaped my career and helped me stay focused on my long-term vision.

The COVID-era changed the financial landscape permanently, but it reinforced the wisdom of my decision to build my practice here. It opened up new opportunities and demonstrated the sheer strength and reach of serving both local and international clients from this base.

Now, 18 years later, I am a proud partner at Zachariah George & Co. Over these nearly two decades, I have collaborated with clients worldwide and guided 500+ SMEs in achieving financial clarity using root-cause analysis and proactive strategy.
